Event Volunteers
FACE Foundation Sickle Cell Community Meetings
Sickle Cell Community Meetings and Seminars, in partnership with other sickle cell organizations and leading medical professionals, will raise awareness and educate the sickle cell community. These meetings will be held in local churches, community centers, schools and colleges, and invitations will be extended to the general public.
Volunteers:
- Flyer Street Team - Teams pass out Meeting flyers in and around the community.
- Host and Greeter
- Meeting set up and Break Down
Fundraisers:
- Annual Aaron's 5/10k Run/Walk and Youth Picnic for a cure
- Annual AFLAC Children's Fashion Show
- Annual Black and White GALA to raise funds for the Nicole Murphy Tutoring scholarship program
- National Concert Tour and Sickle Cell Awareness Fair for a Cure and Eradication of SCD
